The Tremont High School Marching Band joined other high school bands from across the country to play at halftime of the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Not only did band members get to play on the field at the Superdome for the NCAA match-up between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Kansas State Wildcats, but they also got to experience a little bit of New Orleans culture and other activities as well. They visited the National World War II Museum, took a tour where some students were able to hold a live alligator, and enjoyed a meal at the famous Hard Rock Cafe!
Thank you Mr. Hillrich and band members for representing our small town of Tremont, Illinois at the Sugar Bowl! Also, thank you to all of the parents and supporters of the THS Band.
