Meet Stacie Jost
This is my fourth year teaching at Tremont Middle/High School, and my second year as part of the PE department. Previously, I taught 8th grade ELA at TMS and 6th grade ELA at Illini Bluffs Middle School. During my time at IB, I also I served as a fourth grade teacher and as an aide in middle school physical education and high school special education. Prior to having children of my own, I taught at Rankin School in Pekin and Morton Junior High School.
My family includes my husband of 21 years and our three girls. We live on a 100-acre farm in the countryside of Mapleton. While we don't raise any animals, we see a lot of deer and turkey and other wildlife and enjoy the woods and creeks on our property. When I’m not at school, I really enjoy traveling and spending time together as a family. My girls attend Tremont Middle and High School. Savannah is a senior, Avery is a sophomore, and Mackenzie (Mac) is in eighth grade. They are all involved in sports, so much of my "free" time is spent driving them to practices and games. I enjoy cheering them on in volleyball, basketball, and softball.
