INVITATION FOR BIDS

Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Tremont Grade School Roof Modifications located at 200 South James Street, Tremont, Illinois 61568. Bids will be received until 2:00 PM on the 6th day of March, 2025, at the District Office located at 400 W. Pearl Street, Tremont, Illinois 61658 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Project consists of removal of existing exterior metal shroud around a gymnasium, and recladding of existing gymnasium exterior walls. Additionally, there is minor roof patching at wet insulation and repair associated with the shroud removal work. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. A Prebid conference for all bidders will be held at Tremont Grade School,200 South James Street, Tremont, Illinois 61568 on the 20th of February at 3:45 PM local time. Prospective bidders are requested to attend. Obtain access to digital drawings and specifications of the bidding documents by visiting the Architect's website at www.design-mavens.com and clicking on the Out for Bid button at the top right, and on next page selecting the Get Drawings button for this project, and completing the information and submitting the form. The documents will then be emailed to the email address on the submitted form. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
